Who can use the library?

Every student and staff member at Irving Middle School has access to the library for checking out books, working on projects, and collaborating with peers. Your student or staff ID number is your library card number and it is automatically applied when you are enrolled.

How many books can I check out?

A "reasonable" amount. There isn't a set number of books, because we know at times you might need more or less depending on many factors. 

What are the fines on overdue books?

Norman Public Schools does not have late fees on returned books. 

What happens if I lose a book?

If a book which is lost, damaged, or ruined, you are responsible for the cost of that book. That said, we know that life happens and sometimes books are gone and it's no one's fault. If you have lost a book, talk to the librarian and they will be happy to help you.
