With the holiday break approaching it is normal to be excited and stressed at the same time! The holidays are not merry and bright for everyone. 64% of people with mental health conditions report that their conditions worsen around the holidays. Congratulations to Matthew Hutchison for earning the Last Frontier Council Eagle Scout Project of the Year! The Norman North student built a Sensory Labyrinth Garden for Dimensions Academy. The project is under consideration as Territory Project of the Year and possibly National POY! Regardless, we are #NPSProud and know the 54321 grounding techniques worked into the garden help Dimensions students tremendously!

Like most of you, we have been monitoring the severe weather predicted to impact our area since Sunday evening. Based on the information available at this time and out of an abundance of caution due to the timing of the potential weather threat, Norman Public Schools will be closed on Monday, November 18, 2024.
All before-school practices and activities have been canceled as well. We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the early afternoon and determine whether after-school practices and activities will be impacted.
Based on the forecast provided to us at this time, we plan for after-school activities and practices to take place. Again, if it changes, we will communicate otherwise as soon as possible.
