Course Catalog - High School

Community Colleges:  No minimum required.  You should take required high school classes and graduate from an accredited high school or have a GED and take the ACT exam.

Please visit with your school counselor regarding specific university requirements.

Oklahoma's Promise - Oklahoma’s Promise allows 8th, 9th or 10th grade students from families with an income of $55,000 or less and are Oklahoma residents to earn a college tuition scholarship.  Students must also meet academic and conduct requirements in high school.

Classification

  •  In order to be promoted to the next grade level, students must have acquired credits as follows:

  • 9th to 10th grade:   must have earned at leave five (5) credits

  • 10th to 11th grade:   must have earned at least eleven (11) credits

  • 11th to 12th grade:   must have earned at least seventeen (17) credits

  • 12th grade:  must have academic standing that would qualify them to graduate during the current school year
