Mr. Mairet is the librarian at Reagan Elementary. After 15 years in the classroom, Mr. Mairet transitioned into the library to inspire student's love of reading! Mr. Mairet is a traditionally certified teacher from the University of Oklahoma, returned to OU for his Master's Degree, and in 2023 he was named Norman's District Teacher of the Year. Mr. Mairet loves reading, running, and cuddling with his Siamese cat.
About Library
The Reagan Library serves approximately 500 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade. The school library program embraces the "Maker" movement, a philosophy that allows students to create their own projects to demonstrate understanding.
