Tori Collier Swearing In

Norman, OK — The Norman Board of Education officially welcomed its newest member, Tori Collier, during its regular board meeting on Monday evening. Collier was sworn in to represent Office 5, bringing fresh perspectives and a strong commitment to the district's mission.​

Superintendent Dr. Nick Migliorino, fellow board members, and district leaders were present to congratulate Collier and express appreciation for her dedication to serving the students, families, and staff of Norman Public Schools.​

“The Board of Education plays a critical role in shaping the future of our schools, and we’re pleased to welcome Ms. Collier to that important work,” said Superintendent Dr. Nick Migliorino. “Her perspective will help guide the district as we continue to grow and evolve in support of our mission to prepare and inspire all students to achieve their full potential.”

Collier succeeds Dr. Tina Floyd, who previously served as the Office 5 representative. The district extends its gratitude to Dr. Floyd for her service and contributions to NPS.

Board of Education members in Norman serve five-year terms and play a vital role in setting policy, overseeing district governance, and supporting the strategic vision of the school system.​
